When he was 15 years old, Timothy Macy bought his first Nikon with money saved from mowing lawns and waxing cars. He is a multiple graduate of Ball State University, where he studied photojournalism, American literature, creative writing, and architecture. His photographs have been exhibited at galleries in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Germany, France and elsewhere. He resides in Gainesville, Florida.
